Yeah that's pretty strong. I have been playing all week at local for a 400 high hand every hour.
Today's timing was terrible. High hand for the day ends and 10 min later I get JJ. Flop was JJQ. Turn K flop Q. I am button. Other person in pot bets 75. I go all in with 325. He immediately calls. He flips over KK. Sigh.. i win which was obviously great but the way he called I thought for sure a bad beat was about to happen. So I miss high hand by 10 min and so close to bad beat. I did win the 800 pot though.

I agree downloading this App is a must if you play poker. Not only does it provide you with the current up to the minute number of games a particular room has going, but also a live list in addition to current promos and other information. A poker room has to use the Bravo system in order to appear on the app so you may not find info on every poker room.

If a jackpot drop is funding it, it's gonna be neutral a lot.
An exception is when there is something like a free roll, where the casuals are paying the regs.
My very favorite is splash pots. Even if funded by the drop, people play these incredibly poorly and you can have a big edge. Axel and I played one at the Venetian. They were putting $100 in the middle preflop at 1/2. One time a few people limped to my button and I made it like $40 and took it down.
There was another hand where Axel was in the BB and everyone folded except me and one other guy. 3 ways to the flop in a limped pot with $100 sitting in the middle. LOL. I think we had 6 splash pots and either Axel or I won 4.
One of the most +ev plays of my life. I almost got stacked on one $100 splash. I enter the next hand, which is also a $100 splash with $4. Obviously, I toss the money in blind getting over 25-1. (I wonder how many players would rebuy here.)
